Summer/Fall 2026 PLAYOFF FORMAT
Oskie Flag Football has adapted a modified double elimination format to their playoffs. To promote teams moving up and playing tougher competition we reward teams for playing higher divisions the most. The Prizes also scale accordingly. We also have stipulations for teams that have won leagues in the past.
- Any team that has ever won a league championship since moving to the Papillion landing is ineligible to drop into a lower division during the playoffs.
- Currently this includes: Bandits, CSK, Martin Jewelry, Oskie, & Team Black.
- All other teams are eligible to drop a division if they lose in the playoffs
- Rec teams are the lowest division and will not have a lower division to drop to if they lose.
- Teams always can opt into a higher playoff if communicated before the final week of the session
- Gold/Pro and Silver Playoffs will be 15 minute halves
- Semi-Pro, Bronze, and Rec will be 12 minute halves
- Gold Playoffs will have 3 refs for the championship. We try to provide 3+ refs for all gold games if possible.
- Only rostered FT players are eligible unless numbers allow rostered subs. Non-rostered subs can be used at the cost of points every single game played with that sub. Check the rule book for further clarification.
- High seed is the home team in all brackets. Home team chooses jersey color and auto-wins coin toss and pick Offense, defense or direction. Sides and ball flip no matter what at half. Higher divisions will be considered a higher seed if they match up. (example: Semi-pro 8 seed is a higher seed than Rec 1 seed)
- Game time is forfeit time.
- Roster check must be done 5 min within the illegal player playing. Results will be forfeit if a team uses an illegal player
- Only players that have signed up via the digital roster are allowed to play in the playoffs
- Teams must have 2 uniform colors and away team must change. Failure to do so is forfeit
- We will start using a reseeding system in the lower brackets. This is to create the most fair match ups and hopefully eliminate playing the same team multiple times
- Mercy rule will be on in all games that a team has played more than 1 game per night. If one team has played 2 games but the other has not it will only end the game if the team that has not played a 2nd game is the winner. (example: Team A had a bye and is playing Team B that won a game already on that same day. If Team A gets up the required amount at the specified time they will win by mercy rule and move on. If Team B is up by the required amount at the specified time they will have to finish the game). If both teams have played the mercy rule will be in full effect.
- On weeks that Kendall is playing he will be providing a "tournament director" that will keep things running for him.
- All teams are allowed to "Opt-up" to a higher tournament bracket if they would like. This must be done by Week 4 (9/10/26). This will not change their posted schedule but will put them as the lowest seed in the bracket they would like to opt-in to. The benefit to this is that the higher the brackets the easier it is to get some sort of prize.
- Gold/Pro - Free session / rings or medals / MVP prize / $300 towards custom uniforms via Shruumz
- Silver - 1/2 off next session / Rings or Medals
- Bronze - Rings or Medals
ALL THE FOLLOWING TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE - This will only happen due to a weather date, a team opting up, or ref coverage issues.

The Pro division will be in the Gold Brackets. The Current plan is that on 10/1/26:
- Game 1 (1 v 4 seeds) will play at 8:15 on Field 1 with 3 refs
- Game 2 (2 v 3 seeds) will play at 8:15 on Field 2 with 3 refs
- Game 3 (Championship will play at 8:45 on Field 1 with 4 refs
CSK & Martin Jewelry are ineligible to fall to silver bracket due to having past Oskie Flag Football league championships. If either one loses the Silver Bracket will have a bye where their spot is supposed to be.
All of these games will be 15 minute halves

Silver Bracket games will play on 10/8/26:
- Silver Game 1 - Higher Gold seed vs Lower Semi-pro Seed: Field 1 @ 8:40
- Silver Game 2 - Lower Gold seed vs Higher Semi-pro Seed: Field 2 @ 8:40
- Silver Championship - Field 1 @ 9:10 (Plan is to have 3 or 4 refs but not guaranteed)
All Silver games will be 15 minute halves. Gold teams will be the higher seeds (home team) over Semi-pro teams.
If only one gold team falls to Silver bracket the 2 semi-pro teams will play on field 1 at 8:40 with the winner meeting the Gold team in the Championship immediately after.
If no gold teams remain the silver championship will be played at 8:40 of field 1.

Semi-Pro Bracket will play the first 5 games (round 1 and play in game) on 10/1/26. All of these games will have 2 refs. Games 6 & 7 will play at 8:10 on 10/8/26.

One of games 3-5 will be played on field 4 at 9:10 while the other 2 will be played at 9:40 on field 3 and 4. This will try to be a match up that does not contain teams that have pro players if possible. If no matchup is possible it will be the 4 v 5 match up.
- Game 6 Semi-Pro: 10/8/26 Field 1 @ 8:10
- Game 7 Semi-Pro: 10/8/26 Field 2 @ 8:10

- Game 1 Bronze: 10/8/26 Field 3 @ 8:10 (Rec Champ v 4 seed reseed from Semi-pro)
- Game 2 Bronze: 10/8/26 Field 4 @ 8:10 (Semi-pro game 1 loser v 3 seed reseed from Semi-pro)
- Game 3 Bronze: 10/8/26 Field 3 @ 8:40 (Bronze game 1 winner v 1 seed reseed from Semi-pro)
- Game 4 Bronze: 10/8/26 Field 4 @ 8:40 (Bronze game 2 winner v 2 seed reseed from Semi-pro)
- Game 5 Bronze: 10/8/26 Field 3 @ 9:10 (Bronze winner v Semi-pro game 6 or 7 loser)
- Game 6 Bronze: 10/8/26 Field 4 @ 9:10 (Bronze winner v Semi-pro game 6 or 7 loser)
- Bronze Championship: 10/8/26 Field 3 @ 9:40
Game 1 semi pro loser and rec champion will have a predetermined spot they are placed
Games 2-5 semi-pro losers will be seeded 1-4 and placed accordingly.
Bronze Game 5 & Game 6 will match up one of the Bronze winners with one of the semi-pro games 6 & 7 losers. This will attempt to match up teams that have yet to play in the postseason. If not it will match the higher semi-pro losing seed vs the lower bronze winner seed. IF Oskie or Bandits lose their spot in Bronze becomes a bye. If one of them loses game 6 or game 7 the 2 bronze teams will play each other while the other semi-pro loser will advance to the Bronze Championship.

All rec tournament games will be played on 10/1/26. These will have 2 refs and 12 min halves. All losers will be eliminated. The champion will not receive any prizes but will move on to Bronze to compete for a prize!
